Its kind of overwhelming to think of what the technology might be 50 years from now. Right now in 2010 we have so many different programs and applications I'm scared to imagine what could come next.
One thing though that I was thinking about was Bluetooth. Right now we have hands free ear pieces. However, it seems to me from observing other kinds of technology and advances that 50 years from now we might have an embedded Bluetooth tool. I know that sounds kind of weird, but think about it. People are already embedding chips into animals so they can find them if they're ever lost. Who's to say embedded Bluetooth isn't next? If mobile is the new thing, then why not have an embedded Bluetooth?
Now, what I mean by embedded Bluetooth is this:
Remember those toothbrushes that came out a few years back where you can hear music through the waves while you brush your teeth? Thats what I imagine the Bluetooth device being like. Doesn't that make sense? I think it does.
